Lady in Shoes is Cassie’s debut album of original music; an adventurous collection of groove-based, richly-textured, and imaginative compositions. On the album, Cassie is heard unfiltered and on her own terms, leading her group of long standing collaborators through nuance and emotion. The collection features an eclectic mix of original compositions, as well as collaborations with guitarist, vocalist, and pianist Paul Conant, and guitarist Fran McConville Jr. Driven by intricate harmonies and soul-searching lyrics, Lady in Shoes presents arrangements that are both vocally and instrumentally ambitious.
