Improvisation and ensemble chemistry are the pillars of the Cassie Kollman jazz ensembles. In the years that the musicians have been collaborating, they have each developed a strong ear to one other’s musical voice, and as a result their work together is sensitive, responsive, and intimately collaborative. The band is tight yet expansive; leaving space for exploration and freedom inside a well-established groove. The spotlight of the projects is the vocals, which are technically ambitious, harmonically nuanced, and rich in storytelling. Ensembles perform contemporary arrangements and original works.

Cassie Kollman ensembles are versatile groups of musicians who are skilled in a wide range of contemporary styles; including jazz, R&B, rock, pop, and blues. Set styles are adaptable to suit the needs of the occasion. Small and large ensembles are available for concerts, weddings, and private events.
